CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler told the panel of Television Critics yesterday that they were “close” to reaching a deal with musician John Mayer to host his own music/sketch variety show on their network.
Though she didn’t say it would be live like the attempt made by NBC and Rosie O’donnell, it contains all the ingredients in the recipe for failure.
Sorry to say, but this type of programming seems to be what the people do not want!
