You remember the report that Mariah Carey threw a fit and left Barack Obama’s inauguration because she found out she had to sit in the VIP with the rest of the celebrities, and would not be standing with the Obama’s on the stage.
Well she’s finally addressed the situation, through a spokesperson, by releasing a statement saying;
“When she and Nick arrived in their section, she was surrounded by fans, but unfortunately it caused too much of a ruckus and it became a little unsafe. She was then escorted to safety by police.”
I had heard that the millions of people who descended upon D.C. that week were only there because they heard Mariah Carey would be there, so yeah this pretty much makes sense. Riiiight.
