It’s been revealed that David Beckham may be able to get his wish of moving to Itlay to play with Milan but for a pretty hefty price.
It’s being reported that if Becks comes back here and finishes out the regular season with the LA Galaxy, Milan will pay $10 million to buy him out, but DB will have to pitch in 5 million of his own cash as well. (chump change for him so w/e)
Victoria Beckham is said to be stressed about this though. She is just finally getting settled here, and her kids have made all new friends and they are being ripped back across the pond.
David recognizes Victoria’s stressful situation and admits family is his first priority by telling British tabloid The People; “My family is the no.1 priority and I want to do what’s best for the children. They adore the U.S. and have settled well there. But at the same time, there is no doubt that if I want to keep playing for my country the best platform is in Milan. Victoria is as tormented as I am by all this. She is having sleepless nights and is hardly eating. I am worried about her – she is my wife and I want what is best for her as well. We both know this is a massive decision.”
David should just leave the fam here and go play the season. I can’t blame him for wanting to leave. If you were one of the few people who actually likes soccer and is good at it and were forced to play in the US where nobody cares and the talent is minimal, you’d want to leave too.
