Michael Jackson threw a curve ball at Juliens Auction House yesterday when he filed a lawsuit against the company who is planning to auction off over 2,000 of the king of pops things at a 5 day auction in April, including the gates to Jackson’s famed Neverland ranch.

Michael’s production company, MJJ Productions,  filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday against Julien’s, claiming that founder Darren Julien promised to send Jackson an inventory of sale items, but that the singer hasn’t given permission to move them all.

Julien has been totally caught off guard by this, claiming that Michael’s manager signed off on all of the items.

The two sides will work out the details when Julien returns home from a trip to Ireland.
