In just one month from today, November 3, you’ll be able to get your hands on the new ‘Band Hero’ video game which will allow you to play as country/pop teen superstar Taylor Swift!
Rock Band did it with Kurt Cobain and The Beatles, but now the Guitar Hero franchise is allowing you to dive into the pop stars of now by playing as Taylor Swift and Maroon 5’s Adam Lavigne.
With the inclusion of such artists like Swift, Hilary Duff, Pink, Aly and AJ, Avril Lavigne, The Spice Girls, Janet Jackson, and Duffy, it would appear as if the franchise is trying to appeal to the female demographic more with this one, stepping aside from their typical heavy metal/ rock n’ roll history.
There are still rock songs included on the new Band Hero library, but it’s definitely more diverse than games of the past. Not a bad thing either!!
