Elizabeth Taylor has entered the hospital today to have a procedure done on her heart.

“It’s very new and involves repairing my leaky valve using a clip device, without open heart surgery, so that my heart will function better.”

Elizabeth Taylor has been a favorite of mine since I was a little girl looking at the fascinating movie magazines. My oldest daughter is named for her. She is a survivor in the finest sense of the word. I admire her guts and strength. Since she is now a little older and more frail, let us lend her OUR guts and strengh to help her survive this procedure. How can we not? She has given we moviegoers countless hours of premier movie performances and entertainment, along with her relentless dedication to the AIDS cause. My prayers and heartfelt wishes for a strong and sustaining recovery are with her. Until she ‘tweets’ again…
