Rapper Lil Wayne changed his plea this morning, pleading guilty to the lesser charge of attempted weapon possession.
Unfortunately, it looks like Mr. Wayne will be heading to the big house for approximately a year. Not such a bad sentence; Hey, at least he’ll be able to finish that University of Phoenix degree!
Onlookers said Wayne looked “somber” as he departed court and did not speak.
Wayne – AKA Dwayne Carter has a history of charges against him almost as big as his history of hits. This time around, a gun was found on his Manhattan tour bus in 2007.
That’s it? A gun was found on his bus and he’s going to jail for a year?! What?
