Simpson’s Price of Beauty Fails in Numbers Again

011308_sl_simpson13-1

The second episode of Jessica Simpson’s The Price of Beauty aired last night on Vh1 to only 800,000 viewers.

That total is down about 200,000 from last week’s premiere episode.

Not too good for the longevity, Jess!   Though VH1 is reporting that through rebroadcasts all week long, the show has been viewed by 15 million people.

In comparison, American Idol, and it’s mediocre season of performers saw 23 million viewers last night.

Yes, it’s network, but if you want to talk cable, then Jessica’s show didn’t even beat Hoarders, on A&E.

Although, Vh1 seems happy, and thats all that matters to keep Jessica Simpson employed!  So congrats!

One Response to Simpson’s Price of Beauty Fails in Numbers Again

I knew the numbers would go up with re-broadcasts. New episodes on Monday are shown at the same time as WWE Raw and TNA wrestling programming. That’s a bad time to air Jessica’s show, but I knew more people would tune in on other days…
