Simon Cowell’s hard work and hars criticism has landed him the 2010 International Emmy Founders Award.
Cowell will be honored in New York City on November 22 for his work on American Idol, The X Factor, and the “Got Talent” franchise.
The academy’s President Bruce Paisner had this to say about the honest judge; “he has built an international empire and in so doing has changed the face of television around the world.”
Cowell is said to be “delighted” about receiving the award, and has admitted that he’s very lucky to be able to make shows that I love.”
