18 years after he left the role that made him famous on The Young and the Restless, David Hasselhoff is returning to the show.

David will reprise the role of Dr. William ‘Snapper’ Foster, a role he played from 1976 to 1982.

The Hoff has agreed to come back for multiple episodes as a way to say thanks to the shows creator for giving him his big break.  He says in a statement;

“Being asked to come back to appear in several episodes gives me a chance to say thanks, as I have an amazing amount of respect and heartfelt emotion for Bill, his family and my time on Young and the Restless. I just hope I can remember all those lines.”

Will you be tuning in for the return of Snapper?

A bigger question:  Does anyone who watched the show from 1976-1982   still watch the show now?  That’s commitment!
