Looks like Paula Abdul has found her new role as a reality TV judge.
And no, she won’t be taking Simon’s seat on American Idol making it 3 to 1 for the girls next season.
Abdul has reportedly taken the job as lead judge on a US adaptation of a UK dance competition called Got to Dance.
It will be a part of the CBS fall line up, and is an all ages/ all styles dance competition.
No word on the other judge castings yet, or how the audition process will work, but it sounds like just a version of So You Think You Can Dance with no rules? Right?
Hopefully she gets to work on Simon’s new version of The X Factor as well, because we don’t see the fading dance craze accepting yet another show, and it failing after a season or two.
Right move for Paula?
There are also rumors she’ll be a part of Simon Cowell’s farewell during the Idol finale this week.
