Though the goal of a 90 day rehab facility is to help ones life in the long term by curing a drug addiction, Lindsay Lohan is more focused on the short term, and is afraid that this lengthy stay in rehab may be detrimental to her career.
In documents filed with the court this morning, the probation officer explains: “The defendant says her clothing line is falling apart because she is not available to monitor the product.”
The judge’s likely response: Too damn bad.
Lindsay was sentence to head back to the Betty Ford Clinic until no earlier than January 3rd 2011 this morning, avoiding any jail time all together.
What she’s not going to want to do is pull any monkey-business over the next two months.
Lindsay was also slated to start production of a new film this November, we’re assuming it’s ‘Inferno’ but the director Matthew Wilder has been very vocal in saying they will wait for her.
We’ll see if that holds true as well.
