Katy Perry won grand daughter of the year this weekend when she took her grandmother to the Grammy awards along with her husband Russell Brand, and now her mother can’t wait to be grandma either.
Also on the red carpet this weekend was Perry’s mother, Mary Hudson, who told People Magazine that she can’t wait for the couple to have children of their own, although they have said they are in no hurry.
“He loves kids. I just can’t wait for them to have babies. Grandma, here we come,” Hudson explains.
Perry performed a new single from her latest album at the awards show, with footage of her India wedding to Brand playing in the background.
The pair married late last year, and her mother insists they “make it work” although she’s not sure how with their hectic schedules.
“I don’t know whether it’s private jets or what, but they make it work,” Hudson adds.
Considering many celebs have trouble making their marriages work, we hate to see them rush into kids, but for Katy Perry and Russell Brand, we feel as if they are a great match and in it for the long haul. Plus the kids would be adorable for sure!
