Kobe Bryant Crys Foul After Lakers Lose to Heat

Kobe Bryant spent one hour after the Los Angeles Lakers loss to the Miami Heat on Thursday night practicing his jump shots alone on the court as a form of self punishment for going 2-11 in the second half of the game.

Down by two with the game on the line in the final minutes, Bryant shot a three pointer with a lot of time left on the shot clock that fell short.  Bryant told reporters during a post game interview that Heat star Dwayne Wade “fouled the s**t” out of him, but there was no call by the referee.

That’s basketball.

But it wasn’t so much of an excuse.  During the Heat’s post game presser, Wade admitted that he did foul Bryant on the play, but said it with an “oh well, what are you going to do” attitude.

The Heat, who were losers of their previous five snapped the Lakers eight game winning streak, beating them for the second time this season.  When the two teams met on Christmas day, the Heat won by 16.

With around eighteen games remaining for most teams in the regular season, both the Heat and Lakers will enter the playoffs where they will be just 12 wins away from facing each other again in the NBA Finals.  The road they face to get there will not be easy for either team.
