While Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina were battling it out in the Idol finale snooze fest, early season cast-off Pia Toscano has gotten a head start on her first album!
Toscano, who was shockingly sent home very early during this season of the show has been working on her first album, and even found love with ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Mark Ballas.
The album, which will be a pop album with an R&B influence from Interscope records, and Pia explains, “It’s definitely going to be big ballads, but there’s also going to be those fun up-tempo songs, those dancing songs,” she reveals. “I feel like on the show people really only saw me in one way, and I want to show the world that I can do other things.”
Toscano will tour with the American Idol top 13 this summer, and hopefully be debuting a few of her own songs while out on tour.
