$14.3 million was the earnings for the box office winner this weekend thanks to Hurricane Irene.
‘The Help’ took the top spot for the second weekend in a row.
The film, based off of Kathyrn Stockett’s bestselling book of the same name is being called this summer’s “sleeper film” as it has been winning the box office after opening last month to smaller numbers behind ‘The Rise of the Planet of the Apes. ‘
