Russell Brand Denied Entry To Canada

Russell Brand was forced to postpone a trip to Canada this week to perform stand up after he was denied entry to the country.

Brand was set to perform at the Casino Rama in Orilla, but was detained by customs officials upon arriving in the country, and shared about it on Twitter.

“Help! I’m gonna be late for Casino Rama show unless someone can force Canadian customs officials to let us land in Orillia!… How do you manipulate customs officials? Wasn’t Hitler’s father a customs officer? I’m pretty sure he was… Let me in! I must perform at Casino Rama, Orillia tonight at 9 for 5000 Canadians!”

In the end, Mr. Perry had no such luck getting in, and wrote out to his Canadian fans:

“Tonight’s Casino Rama show postponed. I’m sorry. I can’t enter Canada. We must abolish the borders between our nations and our minds.”

Brand was previously denied entry to Japan because of his past drug convictions.
