Lionsgate has set the release of the Footloose remake for July 26, 2013.
Kenny Ortega is the big name attached, and has hired Maria Maggenti to write the screen play, and at least they aren’t going to rush it out on the heels of the release of ‘Footloose.’
Kevin Bacon had only good things to say about the ‘Footloose’ remake, unfortunately Patrick Swayze won’t be around to see this one. RIP.
