Actress Connie Britton has adopted a baby boy named Yoby from Africa.
The American Horror Story and Friday Night Lights star began the adoption process three years ago, and is insisting that all the hard work paid off as soon as she met her son.
Britton tells People.com, “It was such a wonderful moment of completion. I thought I was going to collapse into a puddle of tears. I was just grinning from ear to ear. I am thanking my lucky stars every day.”
Yoby is a nickname for the nine month old’s given name, Eyob.
