Robin Williams Talks ‘Birdcage’ Sequel

Robin Williams might be dusting off his feathers and salmon pants for a sequel to his 1996 hit, ‘The Birdcage.’

Williams has recently been talking about the prospect of playing Armond Goldman again, telling Movie Hole “They’re trying to figure out which [story] to write for that,” says Williams. “We will see what happens.”

We have to agree with most blogs out there that this movie should only be a go if they can sign on the power players from the original cast, including Nathan Lane, Gene Hackman, Dianne Wiest, Dan Futterman, Calista Flockheart together and Hank Azaria.

But hey, if it’s a solid script, then why not?
