Law & Order SVU Set Stormed By Occupy Wall Street Protesters in NYC

Production was shut down on the set of ‘Law and Order SVU’ Friday morning after Occupy Wall Street protesters stormed the set.

Crew and cast members were shooting an upcoming episode that is to center around the the Occupy Wall Street movement just after midnight Friday morning when over 100 angered activists arrived at Manhattan’s Foley Square, where TV producers had erected a replica base camp to feature on the show.

Demonstraters  roamed the set and inspected the extras, signs and make-shift tents that were created to mimic their previous camp site at Zuccotti Park, which prompted producers to call in the police.

Set crew immediately dismantled the set in order to preserve the props, which has the protesters thinking they may have their first victory since starting the movement two months ago.

One activist told the New York Daily News, “We made it so that they could not exploit us and that’s awesome.”

Awesome except for the fact they are going to get a bigger police presence, re-shoot the scenes, and prove that the OWS protesters are idiots in prime time on NBC!

One Response to Law & Order SVU Set Stormed By Occupy Wall Street Protesters in NYC

The Occupy Movement is NECESSARY for our citizens to expose
the corruption which Big Business has infected our Government with.  Every single person occupying the streets and
protesting Corporations is a hero and a patriot.  I was compelled to lend a hand and create
some new posters for the movement which you can download for free on my
    artist’s blog at http://dregstudiosart.blogspot.com/2011/11/propaganda-for-occupy-movement.html
