Lamar Odom was traded by the LA Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks this past weekend at his own request, after almost being shipped off to New Orleans just days before before the deal was eventually called of by NBA commissioner David Stern.
Odom was a bit upset with the original trade as he felt he was a valuable piece to the Lakers, and some of his teammates agree. Lakers star Kobe Bryant couldn’t believe the news, and told the media it didn’t “make sense.” Derek Fisher agreed.
Odom reportedly requested the trade, as he felt he wasn’t wanted in LA any longer by the management. Lucky for him, he was given to the defending champion Mavericks, for the equivalent of nothing.
Kardashian is looking forward to the move, telling E! News,
“This was an unexpected change, but I’m looking forward to the move,” she told E! News.
“I’ve heard nothing but great things about Dallas and the Mavs. Can’t wait to join my hubby there and get to know the city and all the wonderful people there.”
