Lindsay Lohan is planning to take legal action against a Dubai party promoter who is using her name to promote a New Years Eve party in which she will not be attending.
Lohan’s reps have sent a cease and desist letter to the promoters, who claim Lohan will ring in 2012 on a massive cruse ship in the United Arab Emerates.
Lohan’s rep says in a statement, “Lindsay is not going to Dubai, nor had she ever considered doing so. She will be spending New Year’s Eve in Los Angeles with a few close friends and family.”
The true sadness is those who bought tickets for the party JUST BECAUSE they thought Lindsay Lohan was going to be on the boat…
