Woah! Bad news for Dr. Drew!
The rumors have been swirling since July that VH1 had been put on indefinite hiatus, but the network had finally pulled the plug.
The series has been around since 2008, and has seen many celebrities pass through it’s doors to help with their addictions. However, it came under scrutiny when two of it’s patients passed away from their addictions in 2011.
A production insider has revealed to RadarOnline, “The amount of time Dr. Drew has to commit to treating celebrities on the show is a tremendous amount of time… Dr. Drew really enjoyed doing the show, even though it could be very emotionally grueling at times.”
