According to a few reports, Beyonce has been offered a contract to fill one of the judges seat on the X-Factor, and Simon Cowell is prepared to spend!
The contract would be a five year deal, paying $100 million per year, which would definitely been more than they were paying Nicole Scherzinger, Paula Abdul, and Steve Jones all together.
Media Take Out first reported the news that The X Factor was seeking a big named female artist like Mariah Carey or Beyonce to fill the judges seat. But a source close to the situation explained, “[Mariah]’s not that hot today,” snipped the snitch. “[Simon] wants Beyoncé because that would immediately give him the bounce needed to beat American Idol.”
The site promises that their source is “extremely reliable” and the same source that broke the news that Jennifer Lopez would be joining the judges panel on Idol.
However, conflicting reports are turning up on E! News, saying that the rumor of $500 million is just not true. A source tells E!, a half a billion dollars is “especially crazy.”
