Ke$ha was the latest artist to fall victim to a Twitter hack on Sunday, though it was only as violent as giving fans false hope for a new single.
The singers followers were treated with a tweet on Sunday afternoon announcing that the release of her latest single was just a few hours away.
“Single out in a couple hours. Ugh so f**kin stressful… wish I could stay on da (the) beach forever.”
However, once the tweet was spotted, Ke$ha took to her page to retract and explain that she was hacked.
She then tweeted, “Animals!! I love u (sic)! I got hacked. Single is not out yet. Promissse (sic) you’ll be the first to know!”
Strange message for a hacker!
