Nick Jonas’ stint on Broadway will be coming to an end.
Jonas’ stint in the production of How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying has been cut short after the show’s producers announced that they would be pulling the plug due to low ticket sales.
Though Jonas’ contract was set to go through July, producers have scheduled the final performance for May 20th. He joined the cast in January.
Producer Michael McCabe says in a statement, “My producing partners and I are extremely grateful to the unbelievably talented company of actors and skillful crew that have given vibrant life to this show for over 500 performances.”
The show debuted last year with Harry Potter’s Daniel Radcliffe in the lead role which lead to eight Tony Award nominations, and a win in the best actor category.
