Nicki Minaj has posted tribute to a fan who died after attending her recent concert in Japan last week.
Nicola Furlong, an Irish student, was found dead in her Tokyo hotel room on May 25th just hours after she had watched Minaj perform at Zepp Toyko the previous evening.
Minaj took to her Twitter.com to express her sadness for Furlong, an exchange student from Dublin City University who was expected to fly back to Ireland in July.
The rapper writes, “Saddened to learn one of my precious fans; found tragically in Japan. My love & prayers are with the family of Nicola Furlong.”
Two American men have been arrested in connection with Furlong’s death.
