Despite any potential legal troubles that could pop up at any time, Lindsay Lohan has landed a new film role.
Lohan has been cast alongside porn star James Deen in a new film from famed writer Bret Easton Ellis. Lohan will be the lead in ‘The Canyons,’ a film about five twenty somethings on the quest for money, power, and success, in present day Hollywood.
Ellis praised Lohan in a series of posts on his Twitter page when he announced the casting news, saying;
“James Deen and Lindsay Lohan will star in The Canyons. And I am beyond thrilled that James Deen and Lindsay Lohan will be playing the parts of Christian and Tara in The Canyons… Could not have dreamed of a better cast. Lindsay nailed it…”
Raging Bull moviemaker Paul Schrader will direct when production begins next month .
