It’s been nearly a year, but the shooting on ‘The Hobbit’ has officially wrapped.
Announcing the happy news, was director Peter Jackson, who took to the official Facebook page to say;
“We made it! Shoot day 266 and the end of principal photography on The Hobbit.”
“Thanks to our fantastic cast and crew for getting us this far, and to all of you for your support! Next stop, the cutting room. Oh, and (fan convention) Comic Con! Cheers, Peter J.”
The first ‘Hobbit’ film will hit theaters this coming December, with part two set to be released in December 2013.
