American Idol has wrapped the audition process of the upcoming season according to a FOX representative, after the judges completed the last round of auditions on Wednesday and Thursday in Long Beach, California.
The good news is, despite the on-camera altercation between Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj, the judges have been getting along well lately and everything seems to be good.
An Idol source revealed on Thursday, “Mariah and Nicki sat next to each other yesterday. There really is some great chemistry among all the judges.”
Next up for the Idol crew is Hollywood Week where they will get the contestants down to the top performers ahead of the live shows.
American Idol debuts over two nights, on Jan. 16 and 17.
