Tori Spelling has lost her best friend. Nearly a week after giving birth to her daughter, Stella, Tori Spelling lost the original little girl in her life, her dog, Mimi LaRue, who died Tuesday of natural causes.
Mimi LaRue was one of the first widely recognized Hollywood dogs, as she was 11 years old before she passed. Mimi was always dressed up accompanying Tori to the red carpet, as well as staring in her Vh1 show, So NoTorious, as well as the Tori and Dean reality series.
Spelling spoke to People about the death of her pup and said;
“I’m devastated, I’m convinced she waited around to make sure I had the daughter I always dreamt about before she left us.”
Spelling also said that the dog had suffered from medical problems relating to her neck and hips for the past few years.
