Collin Farrell, Johnny Depp, and Jude Law all jumped at the chance to help finish filming of the role started by Heath Ledger prior to his untimely passing. Heath was filming The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus when he passed, and these three talented actors were all signed on to play Heath’s character during different times.
The trio of actors also jumped at the chance to do something good with their earnings from the film. All of the money made will be donated to Heath Ledger’s daughter with Michelle Williiams, Matilda Rose.
Heath and Michelle never married, and his will had yet to be updated following the birth of his daughter, so when the actor passed away, nothing was left to her name. No doubt she will be well taken care of, but it’s nice that these guys want to make certain that under any circumstance, there will be something for her.
