Barack Obama‘s handlers have advised the Illinois Senator that it would be a wise decision for him to not appear on Saturday Night Live tonight.
As Hurricane Ike puts a hurt on Texas, Obama probably realized the amount of criticism he’d receive from his opponents for being in New York telling jokes during a time of crisis, and it was a good call!
Besides.. they probably figured his joke about putting lipstick on a hurricane wouldn’t be in very good taste.
Obama has said that he is going to use his website to help raise awareness and funds for the current situation in Texas.
