Sex in the City creator Candace Bushnell has suggested that she wants Miley Cyrus to play the role of Carrie Bradshaw in her planned prequel series.
Bushnell is currently working on a pair of novels focusing on Carrie’s time in High School and says the character “did not follow the crowd – she led it. It was there that she began observing and commenting on the social scene.”
She also thinks Cyrus could be perfect for the young version of Sarah Jessica Parker’s character, and the fact she has expressed interest in the show in the past is a plus!
