The Rick Rolling craze swept the nation this past year, reviving his 1987 hit which has landed him this nomination at the upcoming MTV Europe music awards. For those of you who don’t know, It’s when you trick people into clicking on a link promising them something they are interested in, but instead they are shown the 1987 Astley video.
His competition is stiff, as he’ll be going up against Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Green Day, Tokio Hotel and U2 to win the award, but He’s been way bigger than all of those in this past year.
