Gossip Girl has finally been given the green light on a spin-off, but hold on upper east siders, it’s not what you think!
In the book series, the character of Jenny Humphrey spun off from the rest of the group to her own book series titled “The It Girl,” but despite earlier reports that television little J (played by Taylor Momsen) would achieve her own show as well, creator Josh Schwartz says it will not be her.
So who will it be from the other 9 characters? Hopefully none of them! I cant see any one from this show leaving right now. Not even for a college spin off! They need to go a new direction like, Michelle Trachtenberg’s character, Georgina Sparks.
The CW apparently officially gave the green light to the GG spin off after they decided to not go forward with plans to make a Smallville-esque show following the boyhood of Batman’s trusty sidekick, Robin, called “The Graysons.”
