Free Cab Rides On Diddy!

P. Diddy will be doing something really great this new years eve.  Giving away free cab rides!

Diddy wants to make sure everyone has a fun and safe New Years Eve in the Big Apple this year and is teaming up with the New York Taxi and Limousine Commission to pass out thousands of 15 dollar debit cards between the hours of 11pm and 3am on Wednesday night.

Diddy’s street team will be handing the cards out in Times Square and Chelsea until they run out, which is hopefully by 11:15 so that they too can enjoy ringing in the New Year.

Diddy tells the New York Daily News, “New York is the world’s most iconic New Year’s Eve city, so let’s lead by example and show everyone that a sophisticated holiday celebration doesn’t just end when the ball drops, but when everyone gets home safely.”

He’s so into New Years Eve in the Big Apple, that he’s offered to donate 1-million-dollars to charity in exchange for the permission to redesign New York City’s famed NYE countdown ball.
