Former Idol Contestants Who Try to Remain Relevant.

On the eve of a new season of American Idol, those who maybe shouldn’t have gotten as far as they did in seasons past are breathing their last breath of fresh air in the semi-spotlight soon to be forgotten forever, even from their labels perspective!

Kristy Lee Cook CROOK, who stole a top 10 spot from many more qualified contestants in the top 24, has been released from Artista records, the label that is home to country musics biggest star, Carrie Underwood.

Kristy (and someone, maybe her imaginary friend) said in a recent interview,

“(Arista Records) released me again.” It’s because I was on the same label as Carrie Underwood.  We’re kind of glad that we got released because we weren’t getting the attention we needed.”

Yeah Kristy, but I’m sure no attention from the label was because of no attention from the fans!

She then went on to blame the promotional work of the label for her lack of success.

“They promoted it a little bit.  They spent so much more money on Carrie.”

Umm, seriously?  You don’t know why they did that? Are you really thinking you deserve as much, or almost as much money as Carrie Underwood?

My only memory of her voice was when she trashed up Proud to be an American on Idol and stayed alive because she got the patriotic vote.

Hang up your spurs, girl.  You’ll never be Carrie.

Your an idiot. Kristy was very talented, and she did have poor management behind her. Nothing against Carry and she loves her as well, but when it co0mes to no talent you have the patton on that. Don’t put down others because you are insecure.

Kristy Lee Cook will get a new recording contract, and within a few years will be on top of the country charts.
