Chris Brown’s star meter is dropping severely. Though his sales were reportedly on average in the weeks after the assault of girlfriend Rihanna, things seem to be heading South in the days preceding his conviction.
Radio stations have all but forgot the name, and his latest single, Forever, that was climbing the Billboard Hot 100 and made it all the way to 14, has dropped drastically to number 58.
Another sign of whats to come was Chris withdrawing his own name from Kids Choice Awards consideration yesterday, which might have been his last chance to be in the spotlight, but definitely without deserving it.
Chris is in the studio working on a new album and that will surely be the true test of his career status, and he’s even rumored to be getting Rihanna on a track.
Unfortunately for the Umbrella singer, this reconciliation with her abuser could potentially have the same negative reaction to her music career.
