Gidget, the chihuahua that starred in the wildly successful Taco Bell commercials a few years back, has died. The dog passed away from a stroke at the age of 15.
The catchphrase ‘¡Yo Quiero Taco Bell!’ sparked a national frenzy of gringos thinking they could speak Spanish, a phenomenon which also occured when “Livin’ La Vida Loca” came out.
We’ve lost an icon. And I’m totally craving a chalupa right now.
