Britney’s Bestselling Song – Guess K-Fed Was Good for Something?

Need some Britney Spears trivia for your next dinner party? Well, Brit’s best-selling single in her 12 year career (holy cow, I’m old) is, drumroll please…

“Womanizer”!

The song off her Circus album has sold 2,777,614 copies so far. To compare, “Baby, One More Time” sold 1 million and “Toxic” sold a pathetic, humiliating 500,000. So why “Womanizer”? Because she repeats the name of the song ten thousand times until you’re brainwashed? Because it’s clearly about how terrible Kevin Federline is? I’d like to think it’s just because it’s an awesome dance song.

Personally, I’m not sure why her cover of The Rolling Stones’ “Satisfaction” didn’t win a billion Grammys, besides the fact that I’ve never heard anything worse in my entire life than that song.

Seriously, though, “Womanizer” is a great song, and it doesn’t even need to rely on sexual innuednoes like “If You Seek Amy.”

Why isn’t anyone commenting on your site??  Well, “Womanizer” is her best-selling song probably because it’s an awesome song. I seriously doubt it has anything to do with KFed, considering he  is so 2 breakdowns and 12 bad weaves ago that any womanizing he did is not really current.
