You know how on Facebook (because ‘fess up, I know you are on Facebook) you can use your credit card and buy virtual gifts for a dollar and your friend receives a .gif that says “Happy Birthday!’ or something equally stupid?
Now, Britney Spears is banking on people who don’t appreciate the value of a dollar also being Britney fans.
Brit announced on her website that gifts with her likeness, and various Circus album icons are now available for purchase on Facebook. She is the first artist to have custom gifts associated with her image, a dubious honor.
You can send that guy you met at the party last week (you know, Jen’s friend?) an icon of Britney on stage for $2. It’s a steal, right?
