Katherine Heigl Nominates Herself for an Emmy

It’s good to know that if nobody else is rooting for you, you can always root for yourself!

Katherine Heigl has nominated herself for an Emmy in the Best Supporting Actress category at this year’s awards show.

Heigl was on a handful of Grey’s Anatomy episodes this season, ultimately leading to the end of her character, Izzie Stevens.

But surely it was not Emmy worthy, was it?

C’mon Kat, let it go! Stick to the movies, Killers was sweet!  Saw it this morning!

Are you nuts. It has nothing to do with Emmy worthy or not. Pretty much everyone submits even those who do just one episode. If she had not submitted the headlines would be “Heigl snubs Emmys”. She is damned if she does and damned if she doesn’t.

    Liam,

the issue last time wasn’t that she didn’t submit herself for Emmy consideration but that she released a statement blaming the Grey’s Anatomy writers for not giving her, what she considered, Emmy-worthy material. She essentially said the writing sucked and the Emmy voters would be too dumb and vote for her anyway. Katherine Heigl damns herself by being an arrogant bitch.

And “Killers” is a really bad movie (acting, directing, script).
