Simon Cowell is money. If you can’t pay up, don’t expect to get him.
For the first year ever this year, Cowell will be absent from American Idol, since he’s chosen to judge the new US version of The X-Factor.
For that, he’s put the UK version of The X-Factor on hold all the way until January 2012, that is as long as they pay the man!
Fearing that they could lose him, ITV in Britain want’s to extend Cowell’s contract by three years, but he’s asking that £4 million be pumped into the show in order to get him to sign. If they are smart, they will oblige.
Simon Cowell as a judge is ratings gold. If he asked for ten, then you go out and find ten.
