Say what you want about her acting or her attitude, but Katherine Heigl has a heart!

Check out this video below where she talks about her Jason Dubis Heigl Organization, and their efforts to make Los Angeles a no-kill city for animals.

Katherine even donated $1 million of her own money to the cause.

Conveniently, her latest film, ‘Life As We Know it’  hits theaters on October 8th.
