After all of the success of Modern Family, it’s time for Sofia Vergara to expand her talents and take on another project!
Sofia has signed on to executive produce a new sitcom based on the popular Spanish series Aquí no hay quien viva (aka I Hate This Place).
The show will appear on ABC, the same as her current show, and she was approached to take on the project by TV big-shot Ben Silverman.
The show is described as a multi-cultural and multi-generational comedy similar to Modern Family, but set in an apartment building. It centers around old school father and his lazy ass son who are forced to work together to manage the crazy tenants of the building that has been in their family for generations.
Sounds like it will be just as hilarious as Modern Family!
