No Doubt’s Twitter Page Hacked By Ron Paul Supporters

Twitter hackers have gone political!

The Twitter pages for bands No Doubt and Rise Against were the target of Internet hackers who are backing the campaign of Republican Presidential hopeful Ron Paul.

The tweets were quickly pulled down but one read, “If you actually read what Ron Paul is saying, you will discover that for the first time in your life a politician is not lying to you.”

No Doubt responded by Tweeting, “Our Twitter account was hacked last night. No political endorsements at this time. Love, No Doubt.”

Rise Against was a little more upset about being hacked and offered this: “We were hacked. As you would all assume, We DO NOT support Ron Paul.”

One musician who is backing Paul is Kelly Clarkson, who recently wrote to her followers, “I love Ron Paul. I liked him a lot during the last republican nomination and no one gave him a chance.”   Singer Michelle Branch replied “I wholeheartedly agree.”

2012, the election, with Twitter in full force for the first time, is going to get nuts!
