Ice-T Blasts The State of Music vs. The Economy

Rapper Ice-T is speaking out about the state of “balling” in music  vs. the current economy.

The rapper turned actor is slamming today’s artists for boasting their riches in their songs while fans struggle to make ends meat.

He tells the New York Post:

“We’ve created a generation of jaded youth. Music as a whole is delusional. If you listen to pop records right now, you’ll believe everybody’s rollin’, poppin’ bottles, life is perfect.

“Life is f***ed up right now. But everyone’s in a bubble that it’s all good. We’re all floating around like, ‘I’m broke, but… hey, pop a bottle, buy some Gucci.’ That’s what’s going on in music right now.”
