You probably didn’t even know, but as crazy as it sounds, Whitney Houston doesn’t have a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.
Not because she wasn’t deserving of one, but back in 1995 when the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce selected Houston as a star recipient, nobody from her team ever contacted them back with a time and date for the ceremony.
Five years passed and in 2000 the offer had expired.
Now that she has passed, the HCOC is looking to “re-instating the status of the star,” if the family is willing.
Whitney Houston died on Saturday night in a hotel room at the Beverly Hilton.
